Sweet Birthday Thoughts

For this card I used the largest jar and sentiment from "Jar of Love." The strawberries, hearts and butterflies are from "Sharing Sweet Thoughts." I used both Stampin' Write and Stampin' Blends markers for coloring.

Ink - Cherry Cobbler (dark and light), Daffodil Delight (light), Melon Mambo, Old Olive (dark & light), StazOn Jet Black

Accessories - Crystal Effects

The crystal trim is from an outside source.

Lovely Birthday Trees

It feels like it's been a long time since I've played with "Lovely As A Tree." It is one of my first stamp sets, and it's very versatile. I've used it by itself, or as a backdrop for other stamps. It can also be dressed up for any season.

For this card, I used the new Stampin' Blends to create a more autumn look.

Stamps - Lovely As A Tree (128655)
Ink- Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, StazOn Jet Black
Card Stock - Soft Suede, Whisper White

Divine Wine

I feel like such a slacker! It has been so long since I have posted anything. It's not that I haven't been making cards - I have. It's because I have been so busy and when I make cards I forget to take pictures.

Today, I have a little extra time to create AND take a picture to share. I hope you enjoy it.

Ink - Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate, Early Espresso

Tranquil Tulips

I'm not sure if this is a sign or not, but I used a LOT of retired product to make this card. Could it be my subconscious telling me it's time? Probably not, but a person can dream.

This stamp set, Tranquil Tulips, is one of the new Hostess sets available in the 2017/2018 Stampin' Up! catalog. The back of the tulips, black stamens, stems and leaves were stamped directly onto the card. For the front of the tulips, I stamped them onto a separate piece of card stock and cut them out to lay on top. I really like the effect this gives.

Stamps - Tranquil Tulips (143767)
Ink - Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz
Card Stock - Melon Mambo, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
Accessories - all are retired (sorry)

Time for Wine

I'm not sure why I took so long to order this stamp set, but I am really happy I did. I used Michelle Zindorf's card as inspiration - Thank you! I loved the way she used the corks as a frame. Because I was sending my card to a man, I wanted it to appear a bit more masculine. As Michelle said, "Sometimes stamp sets just scream to be used together, such as, the Tuscan Vineyard and the Mixed Drinks."

Stamps - Mixed Drinks (141928), Tuscan Vineyard (141902)
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Old Olive, Soft Suede, Watermelon Wonder
Card Stock - Old Olive, Very Vanilla
Tools - 1" Circle Punch, 1-1/4" Circle Punch
Techniques - Fussy Cutting

Disclaimer: I do not have Stampin' Up! Watercolor Pencils, so I used what I had in my arsenal for the grapes and the wine opener.
