Amazing Coastal Bloom

I have so much fun coloring with the Blendabilities markers. Using them really has a way of dressing up a stamp. The Coastal Cabana on Sahara Sand really makes the flower stand out.

The layers for this card are the base: 8.5" (folded in half) x 5.5"; middle: 4" x 5.25"; and the top is 3.75" x 5". It's a simple layout, but it works!
Supplies:
Stamps - Blended Bloom (135906), Painted Petals (137146)
Cardstock - Basic Black (121045), Coastal Cabana (131297), Sahara Sand (121043)
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black (132708)
Blendabilities - Coastal Cabana (131000), Daffodil Delight (130998)
Punch - Ticket Corner Small (ret.)

Melon & Wasabi Bouquets

I made these two cards because I was experimenting with Blendabilities techniques. Some people swear by the method of starting with the darkest shade then moving towards the lightest. Others choose to blend from light to dark. Honestly, I can't tell the difference. What do you think? How do you color with your Blendabilities?

Supplies:
Stamps - Butterfly Basics
Cardstock - Basic Black, Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Wild Wasabi
Ink -  Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi, Memento Tuxedo Black
Blendabilities - Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi

A Rose By Any Other Name

In this case, it's a Sweetbriar Rose! I didn't think I would enjoy working with the Blendabilities markers as much as I do. I've gotten to the point where I look for stamps in my collection which I can color. It's kind of a form of therapy.
Supplies:
Stamp - Sweetbriar Rose
Cardstock - Island Indigo, Melon Mambo, Whisper White
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Blendabilities - Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Old Olive
Ribbon - 1/4" Island Indigo

Sweetbriar Rose

I took a break from cleaning and reorganizing the house. My reward for switching out my warm-weather clothes for my cold-weather clothes. Since this is what I came up with, I guess my mind still isn't willing to accept the fact that the leaves will soon be falling from the trees and snow is right around the corner. I created and cut the window using my Silhouette.

Supplies:
Stamp - Sweetbriar Rose
Cardstock - Old Olive, Whisper White
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Blendabilities - Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry (the lightest shade)
Embossing Folder - Flower Garden

Practice. . .

I'm not getting as much practice with the Blendabilities as I would like, but I am enjoying the process. I began with just a few sets of Blendabilities to decide if I would enjoy them. I do! I've watched a few technique videos to get me started, and have already ordered more sets. Yep, I'm hooked.
Supplies:
Stamp - Corner Garden
Card Stock - Old Olive, Whisper White
Ink - Tuxedo Black Memento
Blendabilities - Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise
Punch - Scallop Boarder

Stamps - Bloom with Hope, Something to Say
Card Stock - Basic Black, Very Vanilla
DSP - First Edition
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black, Pistachio Pudding
Blendabilities - Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo
