Sorbet Butterflies

I seem to have a large amount of retired DSP. Because there is always new, ready-to-be-used DSP, I always seem to have an abundant supply of retired stock.

I found a One Sheet Wonder cutting template at QuietFire Creations, and decided to use some of the "old stuff." She used paper with a Christmas pattern, while mine has more of a springtime feel to it. That's the best part of One Sheet Wonder projects; any DSP can be used!

For the next few days, I plan to post several cards I make, utilizing just one sheet of DSP. Please join me and see what I come up with.

Supplies:
Stamp - Butterfly Basics, Everything Eleanor
Cardstock- Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Pool Party, Summer Starfruit, Whisper White
DSP - Sweet Sorbet
Ink - Pistachio Pudding, Pool Party, Summer Starfruit
Accessories - Bitty Butterfly and Elegant Butterfly punches, Elegant Lines embossing folder, Pearl and Rhinestone jewels, Crisp Cantaloupe and Summer Starfruit twine

Watercolor Greeting

Another fun card created for SplitCoastStampers' monthly challenge, "Catalog Focus: Watercoloring! Whether it be with an ink pad and aqua painter, markers, watercolor pencils, making a background, or dying something. What can you do with water & color?"

For this card, after stamping the swirls, I masked off the lower portion of the paper and created the watercolor effect by sponging ink onto acetate, spraying with water and then pressing onto the watercolor paper.

Supplies:
Stamps -  Everything Eleanor, Really Good Greetings
Card Stock - Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Watercolor Paper
Ink - Crushed Curry, Gumball Green, Island Indigo, Stazon Black
Accessories - Island Indigo Ribbon, Rhinestones

Eleanor Everywhere

More fun with my Silhouette! Again, they all look very similar, but there are subtle differences. You can't really tell from the pictures, but one flower on each of the cards is raised up using dimensionals.

Supplies:
MDS Stamps - Everything Eleanor
Card Stock - Basic Black, Whisper White
DSPn - Riding Hood Red
Ink - Basic Black, Riding Hood Red

Card for Mom

My mom's birthday is just around the corner and I realized I hadn't made her a card. I have her gifts, which still need to be wrapped, but hadn't even thought about a card. As I was thinking about one of the items I got for her, the idea of this card came to mind. Don't you just love it when the perfect design just pops in and allows your imagination to create?

As I began putting the card together, stamping and sponging, I made a few adjustments and am very pleased with the end result.

Supplies:
Stamps - Everything Eleanor
Paper - Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla
Ink - Always Artichoke, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, VersaMark
Embossing Powder - Gold
Ribbon - Always Artichoke Seam Binding

Eleanor on my Mind

Here's another card for Operation Write Home. I decided that "You're on my Mind" would definitely fall in the "miss you" category. I stamped the flower three times, then placed the three layers, each one cut smaller than the other, on top of each other. This makes a more three-D effect using a flat flower stamp.
Supplies:
Stamps - Everything Eleanor, Upsy Daisy
Card Stock - Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White
DSP - Gingham Garden
Ink - Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz
Brad - Daffodil Delight

Just Field Flowers

I was inspired by a card I found on Pinterest. Unfortunately, when I tried to find out who made it, I was unable to access the information. Any way, after deciding to make the card, it took me several days to complete it. Not because it's a difficult card to make. I just never had more than a few minutes to work on it at any given time. There's just a little bit of fussy cutting, but the end result makes it worth it.
Supplies: Stamps - Everything Eleanor, Field Flowers, Just Believe; Paper - Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Everyday Enchantment DSP (ret.); Ink - Calypso Coral, Champagne Mist, Crumb Cake, Garden Green; Jewels - Pearls

Elegant Eleanor

I made this card based on a card I found at Add Ink And Stamp. Actually, I found it on Pinterest and decided to make something similar. The technique is very much like the Triple Time Stamping.

Eleanor Has Bling

I wanted to play when I got home today, but I needed some inspiration. So, I went to the cards I have pinned on Pinterest. I found this beautifully, simple card by another Stampin' Up! demonstrator who had it posted on her blog Stamping to Share. I did change the flower and color, and added some bling, and once again made it my own.
Supplies: Stamps - Everything Eleanor; Paper - Basic Black, Raspberry Ripple, Whisper White; Ink - Basic Black, Raspberry Ripple; Ribbon - Satin Stitch Raspberry Ripple; Jewels - Rhinestones

For You

There's a color challenge going on over at The Paper Players. I've decided to utilize their color selection to make my cards this week. Although I'm using the same colors for each card, that is the only common thread.

This is the first for the week:
Supplies: Stamps - Everything Eleanor, Layered Labels; Ink - Bravo Burgundy, More Mustard, Old Olive; Paper - Old Olive, Whisper White; Framelits - Apothecary Accents; Embossing Powder - Clear.

A Birthday Card

I enjoy receiving birthday cards, and sending them too. Some cards I have made in advance and I can pull out a card that suits the recipient's personality. Other times, I want to make a card especially for a particular person. When I started making this card, it was for no one in particular (I didn't even know it would be a birthday card). Then I realized, as I was finishing it up, who it would be going to. I just love when that happens!
Supplies: Stamps - Elementary Elegance (ret. Happy Birthday) and Everything Eleanor; Paper - Bravo Burgundy, Garden Green, Not Quite Navy and Very Vanilla; Ink - Bravo Burgundy and Garden Green; Accessories - the sentiment was cut from Apothecary Accents Framelit and the ribbon was punched from the Ribbon Border punch,

This card was inspired by Lynn Starzl's Watercolor Winter card I saw on the Stampin' Up! demonstrator site..
