Sweetbriar Rose

I took a break from cleaning and reorganizing the house. My reward for switching out my warm-weather clothes for my cold-weather clothes. Since this is what I came up with, I guess my mind still isn't willing to accept the fact that the leaves will soon be falling from the trees and snow is right around the corner. I created and cut the window using my Silhouette.

Stamp - Sweetbriar Rose
Cardstock - Old Olive, Whisper White
Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black
Blendabilities - Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry (the lightest shade)
Embossing Folder - Flower Garden

Secret Flower Garden

I CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) this card from another SU! demonstrator, Barbara Anne Graham, who CASEd it from another demonstrator, Mary Brown. Obviously, I made some changes to make it my own, but I like to give credit when I am inspired by another demonstrator's work. I really like the look of the layering of the same colors. If you look closely, you might be able to see the dry embossing.

Supplies: Stamps - Secret Garden; Paper - Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder; Ink - Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder; Embossing Folder - Flower Garden; Ribbon - Whisper White Satin; Jewels - Pearls

I made this card using The Paper Players' Challenge #125 as my color inspiration. Honestly, I would never have put these colors together, and I really struggled with the layout. In the end, I admit, I like the way it turned out.
