Wild Times

I might be creating this card again, with a different color combination. This combination, and probably the use of the square shape, make this look like the card should be sent to a Boy Scout or Eagle Scout, I wonder if another color combination would have the same effect?

In Wilderness

I've been spending a lot of my spare time preparing 100 card kits for an upcoming workshop. All of the cards will be sent to Operation Write Home. The event is tomorrow, and I've got everything ready to go! Now that I have had some spare minutes, I got to create a special card for Father's Day, using a sketch from Operation Write Home.

Another Masculine Card

Lots of male birthdays in my family lately. Here is another card made for one of them. If the Natural Composition woodgrain DSP looks darker than usual, it is. Using a dauber, I rubbed Early Espresso onto it. I think it gives it a nice, rich tone.
Supplies: Stamp - In Wilderness (ret.); Paper - Always Artichoke, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso Core'Dinations, Natural Composition DSP; Ink - Early Espresso; Framelits - Labels Collection; Embossing Powder - Clear

Bison In Wilderness

As promised, here is the other birthday card for one of my nephews. This is one of those cards where I had something totally different in mind. After I trashed that idea (literally), I decided on this design. The best part about this one is, it sort of fell into place. It still isn't what I had envisioned, it's better! Love when that happens.

Eagle In Wilderness

One of my nephews' birthdays is right around the corner. He is a wonderful young man, a husband and a Marine. Unfortunately, he lives quite a ways away, so I haven't seen him in a while. This is the card I made to send him for his special day.
Supplies: Stamp - In Wilderness (ret.); Ink - Chocolate Chip; Paper - Always Artichoke, More Mustard, Early Espresso Core'Dinations, Natural Composition DSP; Accessories - Hemp Twine, Woodgrain embossing folder.
