White Christmas Flurries

I was inspired by a card I found on Pinterest. (I just love "window shopping" on Pinterest.) I followed it to Cathy's Craft Room, where she posted cards from a card swap. I finally discovered the card that inspired me was made by Wanda Williams.

I stamped the snowman twice. The first time was directly to the Smoky Slate; the second was on Whisper White. I then cut out the white snowman and attached him on top of the Smoky Slate one. This way, I didn't need to worry about cutting out his arms.

Christmas Blessings

I needed to make one final (maybe) Christmas card. This is a special one to be used by my church to give a monetary Christmas gift to our new pastor and his wife. And, because I sometimes have a difficult time coming up with ideas, I went to The Paper Players for inspiration, and further inspiration from Black Tie Fridays. Their challenge this week is for a Clean and Simple (CAS) card featuring a snowflake. This idea fit perfectly with my needs and I'm quite pleased with the result.

I'm having more fun playing challenges. This week, I'm combining two challenges. One is from Dynamic Duos and the other, a brand new challenge blog, Addicted to CAS. In addition to combining the two challenges, I made the card for a friend whose birthday is this week.
