Elegant Blooms

This card took constant adjusting. The diagonal cut of the DSP needed more than just Blackberry Bliss, so I embossed it. Laying the DSP on top of the embossed cardstock wasn't quite right, so embossed the two pieces together. The additional embossing helped, but. . . then I decided to color the embossed portion of the DSP with Blackberry Bliss.
Supplies:
Stamp - Papillion Potpourri (123759)
Cardstock - Blackberry Bliss (133668), Soft Sky (131203), Whisper White (100730)
DSP - Painted Blooms (137784)
Ink - Blackberry Bliss (133642), Soft Sky (131181)
Accessories - Elegant Butterfly punch (127526), Elegant Lines embossing folder (119277), Pearls (119247) and Rhinestone (119246) jewels

Gift Card Holder for the Gardener

One more gift card holder. I used the same basic pot I used for the gift card holder for the golfer, but filled it with flowers. One of the fun things about the women's golf clinic, was the fact that they served us a cocktail at the end of each lesson. The social time after the lessons gave all of us an opportunity to discuss what we learned and get to know each other.

We were fortunate enough to have a bartender who enjoyed taking care of us. Each week she made us something special to drink (one week it was a Raspberry/Chocolate Martini!), and an appetizer to go with it. She always made us feel so special.

One of the things we found out about her, is that she really enjoys her garden. She even had a vase of flowers for us on a few evenings. This is why I made this gift card holder for her.

Stamps - Papillion Potpourri, Secret Garden
